The second day at Barnardo’s. After finishing off my training in the morning. Me and my fellow new media intern Haneef had a meeting with a guy called Oliver (Olly) from IT, he explained how the website structure worked and some of the more important software programs being used. He was a nice relaxed guy who guided me through things in simple steps which I could understand. The rest of the day was spent on research on other charities IT projects and some meetings. We were also told that we will have the chance to visit a Barnardo’s school and help out there, which sounds like it will be really interesting.
