Today is incredibly hot and I am on the verge of melting ... There are so many fans surrounding me, that I am actually getting bored of doing my Marilyn Monroe impersonation (never thought I'd see the day!).
I have totally re-organised the legal contracts and indexed them electronically. My department is pleased with me, since the task has been outstanding for quite a while, and my input has made a drastic difference!
I'm now onto a project of more historical interest. It concerns old files (many of which relate to old Barnardo's schools) which need categorising. Despite smelling strongly of mothballs, the papers are an interesting read, and I am learning a lot about Barnardo's' past as well as its present.
I hear it's going to rain tomorrow ... why is it that Brits complain when its raining/cold/just plain miserable and complain when it's hot?!?
Just a question for you to ponder!
